Sharks make Catterick a success again
Over 150 people cant be wrong
Sale Sharks once again held at Residential Premier Rugby Academy at Catterick Garrison, with 56 young rugby players from the North West joining 100 from the other side of the Pennines for a fantastic week of rugby coaching from Premiership Academy staff and players, and fantastic personal development sessions with the Army. The highlight of the week was a visit from England hero Jonny Wilkinson, who along with his Falcons teammates did a training session at the camp, and then conducted a kicking clinic.
Sale Sharks were represented by Mark Taylor, Chris Mayor, Rhys Jones & Christian Day, who as well as hosting Q & As about the Premiership Final Victory, took part in personal development sessions. Christian and Rhys helped solve problems, whilst Chris and Mark took part in Paratroop training with the team
Although a lot of players impressed at the camp, Sale Sharks 3 winners were.
Sale Sharks Top Gun Paul McLindon, from Widnes
Sale Sharks Most Improved Huw Grundy, from North Wales
Best Army performance James Wisdom, from Lancshire
They will all be presented with their prize on the pitch before the first game of the Season at Edgeley Park on Saturday 9th September, when Sale Sharks play Northampton Saints.
